Help, Visitors are not sending
any feedback!
Let me show you how you can solicit feedback from your customers.
The first thing that goes
through the mind of visitors when you ask them to do something on your website, is: "Why...what's in it for me?". They could also
have other lemon thoughts... "I'm too busy", OR "Not right now, maybe later..."
Are we not all like that?
Everybody is busy.
We don't want to waste our time with little things that are not important to us.
That's why you MUST provide your visitors with some incentive to give you
feedback. The better the incentive, the more feedback you will get.
Tell them 3 things to make them click:
1. "...you'll receive a fine reward!"
Give them something of value and they will immediately be interested. The better the reward, the more eager they
will be to click. Better yet,
24Spy will give it to them.
The confirmation page on the
un-customized version of 24Spy includes a link that will point your
customer to such an incentive. All you need to do is tell
them to click and the reward will be provided.
2. "...tt only takes a few seconds!"
How much time is a few seconds? It's nothing... and if you get a fine gift in return it is worth the effort.
3. "..Click NOW!"
One of the well known tricks of Internet marketing is to create urgency. If they don't
click now, they'll loose the opportunity of receiving the gift. Which is true, because the next site that they visit
won't have the same offer.
That's it - three simple phrases that will enable you to get into the mind of your customer.
Next steps:
Insert the following text on every page where you provide a feedback link. This is just an example and you can change it to suit your style of writing.

'We aim to provide impeccable
customer service and high quality products. We appreciate your
positive or negative feedback that will help us to improve our
service. Please click on any 'Feedback' link above to rate a product
and tell us what you think.
"Click NOW to receive a free valuable gift. It only takes a few seconds!"
|
Make sure that you include the words marked in red in your text.
IMPORTANT:
The method described above is used mainly where you have more than one feedback link on your web page. There is another, much more effective way of getting feedback about your website.
It is called a pop-up window.
The window should only pop-up when a visitor leaves your website.
